Mannochmore 12 Years Old is a Speyside single malt from Mannochmore Distillery in Elgin, Moray, released in the Flora and Fauna series. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is fragrant and herbal, with sandalwood, a fresh, dry character and soft malty, grainy notes alongside a slight sweetness. On the palate come toasted malt or grass, cedar and bitter herbs, with a round, dry body and a hint of sweet corn. The finish is soft, a little sweet and slow to fade.
