This is a 13-year-old Speyside single malt from Mannochmore, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2022 by Murray McDavid as a UK exclusive for its Benchmark range. It is bottled at 50.9% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky finished its maturation in a Pedro Ximenez sherry cask from the Jerez producer Ximenez-Spinola, and the single cask yielded 286 bottles.
The nose offers sherried spices, chocolate and red currants. The palate brings fresh flapjack, stewed fruits and hard fudge, and the finish is sweet malt with a hint of mocha and oak spice.
