This is a single cask Mannochmore from the Speyside, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023 after 14 years of maturation. It was finished in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled by The Whisky Cellar for its Private Cellars Selection, in a run of 297 bottles at 55.3% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is rich and complex, with dried fruit, nuts and a touch of spice. The palate is full-bodied, with sherry sweetness, pleasant spice and fine fruit. The finish is long, with oak, dark chocolate and a faint hint of smoke.
