This Mannochmore is a 12 year old single malt from Speyside, distilled in February 2013 and bottled in 2025 by James Eadie. It comes from a single cask, with 284 bottles of 70cl at a cask strength of 52.7%. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. After maturation it spent 14 months in a first-fill European oak Oloroso PX hogshead, which shapes the whisky without hiding its fresh pear and apple notes. The nose brings Conference pear, Pink Lady apple, Toffee Crisp, figs and candyfloss, with raisins, ripe plums, dark syrup and roasted nuts. The palate has summer fruit salad, cream, maple syrup, dates and chocolate, with an oily texture. The finish is very long and dry, with dried redcurrants, raisins, almonds and a trace of liquorice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
