This is a seven-year-old Mannochmore from the Exploration Series, number 7 in the run. It was distilled on 15 February 2016 and bottled in the summer of 2023, after maturing in an Oloroso sherry hogshead. The nose is rich with toffee and fudge, alongside stone fruit and musky oak. On the palate it starts sweet and malty, then turns steadily drier as oak comes forward with a little pepper. The finish is bittersweet oak with vanilla and white pepper.
