Fresh fill Moscatel barrique
This 7 year old Mannochmore was distilled on 15 February 2016 and bottled in the autumn of 2024. It is Number 10 in Claxton's Exploration Series. It matured in a single fresh fill Moscatel barrique. The nose offers sweet heather, honeycomb, a little wax and shortbread. On the palate the honey turns waxier, with a light herbal touch and dry oak. The finish is fairly short, with sweet oak and honey leading.
