Mars – Komagatake 2020 Tsunuki Aging

A Japanese single malt from Mars, matured in the company's Tsunuki warehouse. Mars holds spirit from two distilleries and ages it across three warehouses in different parts of Japan, each with its own climate. Tsunuki has a warmer and much milder climate than the mountain site at Shinshu, closer to what might be expected in Kentucky, where bourbon is made. The Mars approach rests on this variety of terroir, climate and spirit style.
