Mars – Komagatake 2021 Yakushima Aging

A Japanese single malt from Mars, matured in the company's Yakushima warehouse. Mars holds spirit from two distilleries and ages it across three warehouses in different parts of Japan, each with its own climate. Yakushima looks out over the Pacific Ocean and receives heavy rainfall, which shapes how the whisky matures there. The Mars approach rests on this variety of terroir, climate and spirit style.
