Mars Single Malt Tsunuki Bartender's Selection Saturn (70cl, 50%)

Mars Single Malt Tsunuki Bartender's Selection Saturn is a Japanese single malt distilled at the Mars Tsunuki Distillery in Kagoshima Prefecture, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was made for Chinese customers and follows a planetary theme. The whisky is vatted from multiple casks, mainly sherry and bourbon, using both non-peated and lightly peated malt. It was distilled and matured in a warm southern climate. The nose offers red bean paste, brown sugar and bitter chocolate from the sherry casks, alongside dark fruit, raisins and apple pie. The palate is sweet, rich and thick, and the finish is soft and full-bodied, with a sweetness that lingers moderately.
