Mars Tsunuki – Peated Single Malt Japanese Whisky

Mars Tsunuki Peated is a peated single malt from Japan, made at the Tsunuki distillery of Mars. Tsunuki stands in Kagoshima, an island in the south of the country, and was founded in 2016. Mars is run by Hombo Shuzo, a company that began with shochu in the early 1900s and moved into whisky in 1949 with the help of Kiichiro Iwai. Its main distillery, Shinshu, sits in the Nagano Alps and is the highest whisky distillery in Japan.
