Mars Single Malt Tsunuki Bartender's Selection (70cl, 60%)

Mars Single Malt Tsunuki Bartender's Selection is a Japanese single malt made at the Mars Tsunuki Distillery in Kagoshima Prefecture, and released for Chinese customers as the first in a series named after planets of the solar system. It is a cask strength, non-chill-filtered whisky at 60% in a 70cl bottle. It combines malt from three bourbon barrels, all distilled in 2017 from 3.5ppm malt and matured for more than three years. The nose is edgy and fruity, with marmalade, lemon peel and citrus alongside an oily, malty thickness. The palate is full of malt, sweet and full-bodied, and the sweetness lingers in the finish.
