Mars Tsunuki Peated is a single malt from Mars in Nagano, Honshu, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle and limited to 14,830 bottles.
It is the second bottling of the Tsunuki single malt, which began in 2020 with Tsunuki The First. This time the peat is brought forward, having been fairly discreet in the first release.
The nose offers peat and honey, followed by barley and crisp apple, and the sweet, smoky notes carry through to the finish.
