This is a five-year-old Japanese single malt from Mars Tsunuki, aged at Shinshu on Yakushima Island and bottled in 2021 for LMDW. It was matured in a single first fill bourbon barrel, filled in 2016, and bottled at a cask strength of 60% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The barrel gave 210 bottles in total. Mars Tsunuki matures its whisky on Yakushima Island, where the conditions are described as ideal for fast ageing.
