Mars Whisky Single Malt Tsunuki 2022 Edition (70cl, 50%)

Mars Whisky Single Malt Tsunuki 2022 Edition is a Japanese single malt from the Mars Tsunuki Distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV. The distillery lies in a basin-like climate with a wide range of temperatures, and uses spring water from Mount Kurata in the south-west of the Satsuma Peninsula. This edition, released in 2022, is vatted from malt aged in a variety of barrels, mainly bourbon. The nose is ripe and sweet, with fruit and baked goods. On the palate there is passion fruit acidity and chocolate, and the finish carries a long-lasting sweet aroma of bourbon barrels.
