Mawsim Gin Spice & Herbs (50cl, 43%)

Mawsim Spice & Herbs is a flavoured gin from Cambodia, bottled at 43% in a 50cl bottle. It takes its name from the mawsim winds that once carried spices across continents. It is distilled in micro-batches from locally sourced botanicals: cardamom, lemongrass, ginger, coriander and black pepper, alongside juniper and citrus peel. Each botanical is distilled separately, then combined with spirit and mountain spring water, and the gin is left unfiltered. The nose is earthy, with cardamom, ginger, lemongrass and crushed pepper. On the palate juniper sits at the centre, with ginger heat, herbal depth and a little citrus zest. The finish is long, dry and lightly smoky.
