McCallum Ben Nevis 20 Years Aloxe Corton Cask Finish

This is a 20-year-old single cask Ben Nevis, bottled by the independent bottler House of McCallum for its Vintage Auld Alliance Collection. That collection brings together individual casks chosen for their unusual character. The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished in an Aloxe-Corton wine cask. Aloxe-Corton is a Burgundy appellation, where red wine from Pinot Noir dominates and a little white wine is made from Chardonnay. House of McCallum is the label of Anthony McCallum, who previously worked in sales at Hart Brothers and Ian Macleod Distillers.
