An American whiskey from Finger Lakes Distilling in Burdett, New York, made in the Irish single pot still tradition and bottled at 40% ABV. The mash is entirely New York-grown grain: unmalted barley, malted barley and oats, double-distilled in a copper pot still.
It spent at least four years in heavy-char barrels that previously held McKenzie bourbon and rye, and it is bottled non-chill filtered.
The nose offers freshly baked bread, green apple, honey and chamomile. The palate brings oak, sweet barley, honey, caramel, vanilla, sweet corn and white pepper. The finish is long and rich, with light spice and caramel.
