McKenzie Straight Bourbon is made by Finger Lakes Distilling from a mash bill of 70% local corn, with enough rye to add a little spice.
It is aged at a lower proof in new charred barrels, then finished in local Chardonnay casks. The distillery describes it as a rich bourbon with subtle sweetness and a round, buttery finish, with butterscotch, vanilla and honeysuckle also to be found.
