Merlet Crème de Pamplemousse Rose Pink Grapefruit Liqueur (70cl, 18%)

A pink grapefruit liqueur from the Cognac region, made by combining three separately developed extracts: a maceration of zests, a distillate of whole pink grapefruits and pink grapefruit juice. The extracts are dosed and blended, then sugar is added. It is bottled at 18% ABV in a 700 ml bottle. The nose is powerful, dominated by summery notes of pink grapefruit and intense citrus oils, with fragrant aromas of fresh pink grapefruit, citrus blossom and orange zest and delicate floral notes. The palate is fresh, fruity and tangy, with juicy grapefruit, sweet citrus, lemon peel and a touch of honey, and a gentle bittersweet finish from the zest.
