Mezcal Unión Uno Joven (37.5cl)

Uno is a joven mezcal from Mezcal Unión, a cooperative of more than 50 mezcalero families across Oaxaca, working under Master Mezcalero Pedro Hernandez in San Baltazar Gualichán. This is the 375ml bottle. It is made from two agaves: Espadín, grown for eight years before harvest, which gives a sweet, fruity, roasted agave base, and the wilder Cirial, grown for fourteen years, which adds herbal, earthy and tropical notes. Expect pear, apple, smoke and herbs, with ripe tropical fruit such as lychee and banana, and a mild hint of jalapeño on the finish.
