A single cask whisky from Michel Couvreur, in a 50cl bottle at 45.38% ABV. It was distilled on 31 March 2003 and bottled in February 2021, after more than 17 years in an Amontillado sherry butt.
The house buys Scottish spirit and matures it in old sherry casks in its cellar in Burgundy. This release was filled to 880 bottles.
The nose has dried flowers and tobacco with only a slight bitterness. The palate is rich and concentrated, with a pleasing sweetness. The finish is excellent.
