It is made in small batches of no more than twenty barrels, and is described as a mellow, earthy bourbon.
The nose is vanilla, caramel and milk chocolate over buttered corn and a little oak char. On the palate come buttery caramel, soft peach and apricot, with gentle nutmeg and a peppery warmth. The finish is long and fruity, with stone fruit, apple, more chocolate and honeyed almond.
