Michter's – US*1 Small Batch Unblended American Whiskey (70cl, 41.7%)

Michter's US*1 is a small batch Kentucky whiskey, bottled by Michter's Distillery in Louisville at 41.7% in a 70cl bottle. The brand closed to the public after Prohibition in 1919, and production restarted in the 1990s when two businessmen joined forces. The wood is air-dried rather than kiln-dried, and it is toasted before it is charred. The spirit goes into cask at 51.5%, where much of the industry uses 62.5%.
