Midnight Moon Blackberry is a fruit-infused American moonshine in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 35% ABV. It is made at Piedmont Distillers in Madison, North Carolina, from a triple-distilled corn whiskey on a 100% corn mashbill, with whole fresh blackberries steeped in the spirit and no artificial flavours or added sweeteners.
Tasting notes describe blackberry jam, corn sweetness and baking spice on the nose. The palate is tangy and fruit-forward, with blackberry candy, bittersweet chocolate and allspice. The finish is medium, with chocolate taking over as the berry recedes.
