Milam & Greene – Provisions Bourbon Whiskey (40%)

Milam & Greene Provisions is a 40% ABV bourbon that blends Texas pot-still bourbon with Kentucky straight bourbon. Milam & Greene is based in Blanco, Texas, and the barrels are finished in Texas under the sun, a step known as Texification. The colour is a deep mahogany. The nose has honey-drizzled oak, roasted peanuts, orange zest and baking spices. On the palate are caramel and vanilla, dark cherry, sweet cornbread and a mild cinnamon note. The finish is smooth, with charred oak, burnt sugar, cracked pepper, dark cocoa and a hint of worn leather.
