Milk & Honey Classic is the first single malt from the Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in bourbon and virgin oak casks, as well as red wine-seasoned STR (shaved, toasted and re-charred) casks.
Honey is the hallmark note, balanced by malt sweetness and rich chocolate. The nose offers ripe peach, dried fruit and well-baked flapjack, with waxy honey and floral oak. On the palate, vanilla and honey sweetness lead into lemon curd and sweet porridge, with a dusting of bitter cocoa. The finish is peppery oak with barrel char, honey and bitter dark chocolate.
