Milk & Honey Elements Red Wine Cask is a single malt whisky from the Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, Israel, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It is distilled in copper pot stills and aged in casks that previously held Israeli red wine. The hot and humid Israeli climate accelerates the maturation.
The nose shows red berries, plums and a hint of oak, with subtle vanilla and spice. The palate is full-bodied, with dark fruit, honey and caramel over toasted oak and a touch of spice. The finish is long, with lingering sweetness and a gentle hint of red wine tannins.
