Milk & Honey – Elements Single Malt Peated (70cl)

Elements Peated is a single malt from Milk & Honey, Israel's first whisky distillery, in Tel Aviv. It is built from three parts: half unpeated distillate, a quarter made with peated grain brought in from abroad, and a quarter of unpeated distillate finished in ex-Islay casks. The whole blend was matured in the Israeli climate. The nose is vanilla and honey with dry smoke smouldering underneath. Citrus arrives on the palate alongside more sweet vanilla and another wisp of smoke. The finish is a light hint of toasty spice: black pepper, ginger and cardamom.
