Milk & Honey Wine Cask Finish Israeli Single Malt (70cl)

This Israeli single malt from Milk & Honey Distillery is finished in ex red wine casks from Israeli wineries, and comes in a 70cl bottle. It forms part of the distillery's Elements trilogy. The casks were chosen from wineries working in a Mediterranean climate, with varied soils, hot sunny days and cool nights, which the distillery links to the spicy character of Israeli wine. The nose offers dried red fruits, ginger, oak and delicate coconut over a gentle mineral note. The palate is light-bodied, with wine flavours, subtle oak, vanilla and soft floral blossom. The finish is medium, with dried fruits, wine and a touch of dark raisins.
