Pomegranate wine finish
A 46% Israeli single malt from Milk & Honey, the Tel Aviv distillery founded in 2014. It is part of the Elements trilogy and is believed to be the first whisky finished in pomegranate wine casks. The spirit is first matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished in pomegranate wine casks sourced from Israeli producers. It is non-chill-filtered and bottled without added colour. On the nose there are fresh red fruits, lemon zest, crushed walnuts and lavender. The palate brings dark pomegranate confiture, vanilla and roasted coffee, with a flicker of dry chilli. The finish is long and dry, with baked apple, cloves and toasted oak.
