Millstone 10 Year Old American Oak Dutch Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Millstone 10 Year Old American Oak is a Dutch single malt made by Zuidam Distillers, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was started in 1975 by Fred van Zuidam and is still owned and run by the Zuidam family. The malted barley is milled in windmills, where the slow grinding of traditional millstones barely raises the temperature of the grain. The whisky is aged for ten years in new American oak. The oak is said to add a rich vanilla and honey sweetness, with delicate notes of coconut and spices such as cinnamon and cloves.
