Milroy's Original Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Milroy's Original is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40%. It follows a house blend recipe from the 1960s and is matured in oak. It is chill-filtered, with no added colouring. The bottling comes from Milroy's of Soho, the London shop and whisky bar founded by Jack and Wallace Milroy in 1964. The nose is soft, with fudge and poached pear, then chocolate-covered raisins, orange peel and coconut, with cloves and cinnamon later on. The palate is lightly warming and buttery, with vanilla ice cream, apricot, jam sponge and mild black pepper. The finish is medium in length, with peppery cinnamon and oak.
