This Miltonduff is a Speyside single malt distilled in 1984 and matured in refill bourbon barrels. It was bottled in 2014 by the independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail. Three decades in oak, in casks that had already been used, gave the whisky a gentle influence from the wood rather than a heavy one. It is typically described as fruit-forward and balanced, in the classic Miltonduff manner.
