Minden Mill 4 Year Nevada Straight Rye Whiskey is a small-batch rye made from 100% estate-grown grain, distilled and bottled in Minden, Nevada. The mash bill is 80% rye, 10% wheat and 10% barley, and it is bottled at 47% in a 75cl bottle.
The whiskey spent four years in new oak barrels with a number 3 char, and it is non-chill filtered.
On the nose there are candied orange peel, dried fruit and a touch of baking spice. The palate brings bold rye spice with caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, followed by a long, warming finish with balanced sweetness and lingering spice.
