This is a five year old American single malt from Minden Mill Distilling in Minden, Nevada. It is made from estate-grown, malted barley, distilled in Forsyth stills and bottled at 47% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The whiskey was aged in American and French oak casks and is non-chill filtered. It is bottled in small batches.
The nose brings roasted coffee beans, toasted oak and a little vanilla. The palate is velvety, with almond, malted barley and hints of caramel. The finish is long, with wood spice and lingering nuttiness.
