Morris – Single Malt Signature (70cl)

Morris Signature is an Australian single malt from Rutherglen in North East Victoria, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% Australian malted barley and water from the Snowy Mountains, and bottled at either 40% or 44% depending on the market. The whisky is matured in local ex red wine barrels and finished in the distillery's own fortified wine casks. It is distilled in a restored hybrid copper pot and column still, originally installed at the winery in 1941. The nose offers orchard fruits, macerated black cherries, biscuit and floral accents. Marmalade, dark chocolate and blackberry lead the palate, and the finish is long, with dried fruit.
