This is a Speyside single malt from Mortlach, bottled by Signatory Vintage as Edition #73 of its 100 Proof series at 57.1% ABV. It was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2026 after 11 years in cask.
The whisky matured in a mix of first fill sherry butts, refill sherry butts and refill hogsheads. It is non-chill-filtered and natural colour. Mortlach is known as the Beast of Dufftown for a powerful, meaty character, which the distillery's six stills of differing sizes help to shape.
