Mortlach – 100 Proof Edition #84 10 Year Old 2016/2026 (57.1%)

This is a ten-year-old Mortlach from Speyside, distilled in 2016 and selected by Signatory Vintage in 2026 for its 100 Proof Edition. It is bottled at 57.1% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour. The whisky was finished in a first fill Pedro Ximénez butt, which gives it a distinctive colour and aromatic density. The series takes its name from the old British proof measure, where 100 proof corresponds to roughly 57% ABV. Its character is described as a balance of fruit and spice, with the structure of Speyside alongside the deep sweetness of Spanish sherry oak.
