Mortlach 13 Years Old Special Release 2021 is a limited-edition single malt from Dufftown, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is known as the Beast of Dufftown, and this whisky has been matured for 13 years.
The nose is rich and savoury, with dark fruits and a hint of spice. The palate is full-bodied, with juicy plums, dried figs, the meaty character associated with Mortlach and some ginger warmth. The finish is long.
