Mortlach – 15 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail Distillery Labels (70cl, 46%)

This is a 15-year-old Speyside single malt from Mortlach, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in their long-running Distillery Labels range at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in oak casks. Gordon & MacPhail has worked with Mortlach spirit for generations, maturing selected casks in its own warehouses in Elgin. The range draws on the distillery-labelled bottlings the company produced during the 20th century. Mortlach is known for its distillation regime, often described as 2.81 times distillation. It uses six stills of differing shapes and sizes, including the small spirit still called the Wee Witchie.
