A 16 year old Speyside single malt from Mortlach, bottled in the Flora & Fauna series at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured in sherry casks, and the series has since been discontinued.
The nose has light smoke, full sherry cask character, spice and oak. On the palate it is fruity, with bittersweet oak, vanilla, raisins and a gentle sweetness. The finish is long and round, with dark chocolate bitterness, sherry and spice.
