This is a 17 year old Speyside single malt from Mortlach, distilled in 2007 and bottled by Signatory Vintage in the Symington's Choice series. It comes in a 70cl bottle from a single first-fill Oloroso sherry butt finish, and the outturn is 655 bottles.

The nose is fresh wood with raisins, a little lime, spices and apple. The palate is strong and oily, with sherry, spice, oak, pepper and a hint of lime. The finish is very dry, with fresh wood and a touch of honey.
