This is a Mortlach distilled in 1936 and bottled at 43 years old by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice series. It is a Speyside single malt, bottled at the end of the 1970s in a 75cl bottle. Gordon & MacPhail released several versions of 1936 Mortlach between the early 1970s and 1986. This 43-year-old is one of the earlier bottlings, and an example of long-aged, pre-war Scotch whisky.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
