This is a 50 year old Speyside single malt from Mortlach, distilled in 1957 and matured in first-fill sherry butts, which shows in the colour of the whisky. It is bottled at 43.5% in a 70cl bottle, and 514 bottles were released. It comes from the Private Collection range from Gordon & MacPhail, a series first launched in the late 1990s. The range usually showcases selections made by members of the family, often as small batch or single cask bottlings.
