This is an 11-year-old Mortlach distilled in 2010 and bottled by Signatory at its full cask strength of 57.8% ABV. Only 697 bottles were filled.
The whisky matured in a bourbon hogshead and then spent 16 months in fresh sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
On the nose it offers nuts, chocolate and good coffee. The palate brings roasted nuts, and the strength is well integrated.
