This Mortlach was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2026 by Signatory Vintage as 100 Proof Edition #73, at 11 years old and 57.1%. It matured in first fill Oloroso sherry butts together with refill hogsheads. It is non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The nose is intense, with dried fruit, especially raisins and dark berries, light spice and a hint of oak. The palate is full-bodied, with sweet fruit, vanilla and subtle chocolate. The finish is long and slightly oily, with gentle warmth and a trace of spice and oak.
