This is a 10-year-old Speyside single malt from Mortlach, bottled by Signatory Vintage as 100 Proof Edition #84, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026 at 100 proof, or 57.1% ABV, after a finish in a first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butt.
It is bottled without added colour or chill-filtering.
The nose is typically described as ripe plums, dark berries, figs and raisins with caramel, cocoa and sweet sherry spice. The palate is full, with honey, dried fruit, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, cinnamon and pepper. The finish is long, warm and spicy, with dark fruit, oak and lingering sherry sweetness.
