A single cask Mortlach from Signatory Vintage, bottled for the 25th anniversary of FC Whisky. It was distilled on 6 January 2016 and bottled on 1 October 2024 after eight years in decar/rechar hogsheads. Just 254 bottles were filled at 60.5% ABV, at natural colour and without chill-filtration.
Tasting notes describe dark fruit, dried fig, vanilla and a hint of spicy oak on the nose. The palate brings caramel, dark berries and warm spices, and the finish is long and warm with chocolate, spicy oak and a gentle sweetness.
