This is an 8 year old Mortlach single malt bottled by Signatory Vintage for FC Whisky's 25th anniversary. It was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2024 at 60.5% ABV, after maturing in decharred and recharred hogsheads. Only 254 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose offers dark fruit, dried fig, vanilla and a touch of spiced oak. On the palate there is caramel, dark berries and warm spices.
The finish is long and warm, with chocolate, spiced oak and a lingering sweetness.
