Mortlach 2022 Special Release is a cask strength single malt in a 70cl bottle, from the distillery in Dufftown.
It was matured in a highly unusual combination of casks, tawny port and red muscat seasoned, which gave a deep, spicy, ruby red fruitiness.
The whisky is described as intense and structured, with the meaty character of the 'Beast of Dufftown' held within that fruit.
